RTC stages four shows per year and has performed various genres of plays since it was first established in 1972. We have a tiered seating capacity of 117 including wheelchair access in our front row.

What an Achievement!
What great stories, what shows we've produced and what FUN we've had along the way....
Thousands have seen our shows and thousands have worked with us in all aspects of the RTC from front of house, behind the scenes, on stage, props, set design, marketing and more..... so much more.
So on 1st June 2024 we are having an open day of celebrations with food, bouncy castles and more! Come along from 11am-5pm.
Then, in the evening we are having a GALA celebration.
This will be invite only BUT we will reprise the GALA performance the next weekend - 8th and 9th June.

In 2024, Rockingham Theatre Company celebrates 50 years of entertaining our community.
As part of this celebration, we are making major upgrades to our lighting system - including a projector. This will allow us to present to you an amazing production of Blackadder which we know will be worth the wait.
